We had a dream about finding a place to fulfill our dreams of a relaxing and happy lifestyle for us and our three children. A place to enjoy time together, to explore the nature and spend our days outdoors.

We explored many locations and areas in Spain before one day entering the gates to Finca La Marquesa. A long forgotten farmhouse in the beautiful countryside right in the outskirts of Ronda town. Something totally different from our everyday life in the north of Sweden.

Many years had the house and olive groves been left by its own and although we realised the hard work that would need to be pursued to bring it back to its beauty, we just could not resist. The authentic details, the thick stone walls, the old chandelier in the entrance hall. Our imagination took us on a journey and we fell in love.

It took us 2 years to renovate it with soft colors, natural materials, respect of local architecture and the authenticity of the house with the old wooden doors and handmade terracotta tiles, sometimes with an 'obsession' of details. But also with a thought of bringing in modern comfort with sustainability in mind.

Over the past years we have worked hard together to make our dream come true. Finca La Marquesa is a beautiful property full of charm and harmony located in a peaceful place.
