THE FARM
Finca La Marquesa is an ecological olive farm with approx 1 000 olive trees surrounding the property. We harvest our olives in November and December to produce our own Extra Virgin olive oil consisting of olives from Picual, Hojiblanca and Leccino. Our olive oil is something you get to enjoy during your farm stay.
The beautiful garden is well and safe separated from our animals and olive groves. We encourage our guests to enjoy this magnificent nature and walk around amongst our olive trees or perhaps hike up our own mountain to enjoy spectacular views or a beautiful sunset.
We have two horses living at our farm, Flamenco and Nikita. They also have company of our two donkeys Albir and Ronda. They are all very friendly and love carrots!
Enjoy a swim in our saltwater pool or take a walk down to the football pitch to play a game, do your morning yoga or just enjoy the breathtaking surroundings.
This house is all about having fun and spend time together. We have a trampoline and a frisbee/disc golf course amongst the olive trees and also hidden away from the sun we have a play room in the old stables with ping pong table and billiards.
Our finca is all about spending quality time with those that you care about. And we therefore have created different outdoor areas to enjoy great meals at complete privacy. For us everything is about ambiance, beauty and comfort to make it as enjoyable as possible.
We have a big size table just outside the kitchen to enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun or take a coffee in the sofa while you soak in the first suns rays of the day and the beautiful views of hills and mountains. Part of the terrace is covered to give shade on warmer days and our BBQ area is located right outside the kitchen for easy access.
We have a beautiful wisteria arch where you can enjoy beautiful dinners under fairy lights or perhaps a lunch in the shade.
Don’t forget our central courtyard. Here you will find a quiet and peaceful getaway with nice relaxing sofas and a beautiful garden. Enjoy the evenings under the stars and the beauty of this old rustic home. Or why not spend the evening on a hike up our mountain to enjoy the sunset and views of Ronda town in the distance.
Our animals
Say hi to Albir and Ronda. Two friendly donkeys spending the days relaxing and exploring the nature around our house. We also have our two horses, Flamenco and Nikita, living on the farm. The animals are important to the farm to add soul and presence to the atmosphere.
Swimming pool
Saltwater swimming pool with lots of areas for sun loungers and relaxing days. A waterfall and lights makes the evenings even more beautiful. Our pool can be heated during the cold months.
